The Salesforce AppExchange currently offers more than 700 applications, many of which are industry specific. Offerings range from sales and marketing to business and finance.

But with so many apps to choose from, which are the best? Salesforce.com blessed the following apps as "The Best of 2008" based on customer reviews:

EchoSign was voted Best Contract Management app. EchoSign automatically signs, tracks and files the contract instantaneously.

DataTrim Dupe Alerts was voted Best Data Cleansing Tool. DataTrim was developed by d2b international and is designed to find duplicate records in your database. The matching documents are shown inside your database and offer the option to merge, delete or convert into alternate data.
